Juan José Guerra gana la sexta etapa del Tour Canita

PUNTA CANA.- Juan José Guerra se consagró nuevamente en el Tour Canita, celebrado este fin de semana en Punta Blanca – Golf & Beach Resort, en Punta Cana.

Guerra, miembro del programa Creso, se adjudicó el premio tras obtener un total de 208 golpes en tres rondas de 74+68+66. Lo secundó Enrique Valverde hijo (amateur) con 211 golpes, tras tarjetas de 67+73+71. Este último empató con el profesional Julio Santos quien registró un juego de 68+72+71 para un total de 211 golpes.

Es la quinta victoria de Guerra en seis etapas del evento y confirma su dominio este año en el tour que reúne a jugadores amateurs y profesionales.

El campeonato estuvo supervisado técnicamente por la Federación Dominicana de Golf (Fedogolf) y contó con el apoyo de Fiduciaria Banreservas, Puntacana Resort And Club, Olsa, Wendys, Mastercard, Ministerio de Turismo, Banco de Reservas, Mitre, Pizza Hut, Chilis, Hartemania, Airport Team Solution, Cerveza Canita, Fedogolf y TIMM.

En la categoría Senior, Luis Matos se alzó con la corona tras registrar doble 75 en dos rondas. Le siguieron Luis Escolástico, con un juego de 81+80, y Sebastiano Di Bari con rondas de 80+83.

En la categoría Mid-Amateur, Eric Maradiaga obtuvo la mejor puntuación con 83+79, seguido de Manuel Luna y Franklin Cornelio en segundo y tercer lugar respectivamente.

La séptima etapa del Tour Canita será celebrada del 14 al 16 de marzo del 2025, en La Cana Golf Club.
