It’s a time of celebration for the international hotel chain Karisma Hotels & Resorts. They have taken home four gold and two silver awards at the esteemed Magellan Travel Weekly Awards. Additionally, they received two acknowledgements at the Northstar Meetings Group’s Stella Awards for being leaders in the hospitality industry.
The 17th annual Travel Weekly Magellan Awards saw Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana bag the gold award in the Hospitality – Overall-Family Resort/Hotel category. Alongside this, the Ke famous Snick Lounge won the silver award for luxury Elements (five stars) Lobby/Design of common spaces in the Hospitality category.
Moreover, Azul Beach Resort Negril, another of Karisma Hotels and Resorts’ properties, took home the gold in the Hospitality – Overall-Beach/Resort Hotel category.
In addition, Karisma Hotels and Resort was recognized with the highest honor at the 2024 Magellan Awards for its special project called The First Ever Autism Concierge. This was under the Travel Services – Overall-Accessibility Services category.
Create in association Autism Double-Checked, Karisma Hotels & Resorts became the first hotel group to introduce an Autism Concierge. This provides guests travelling with an autistic child or adult a point of contact to discuss specific needs.

Stella Awards / Best of Food and Drink 2024
Further, Karisma Hotels & Resorts won a gold and a silver award at the Northstar Meetings Group’s Stella Awards.
Their Margaritaville Island Reserve® Riviera Maya won gold in the Best Food and Beverage category. This offers guests a five-star dining experiences at its waterfront LandShark brewery, with chef Daniela Vallejo curated dishes offered by JWB Steakhouse, and The Boathouse with a casual yet upscale buffet offering dishes from around the globe.
Margaritaville Island Reserve® Riviera Maya, was also recognised by Northstar Meetings Group’s Stella Awards and awarded silver in the Best Hotel Chain category for its innovative and customer-focused approach, including creating spaces designed for all types of meetings.
The Stella Awards’ silver recognition was for the new Margaritaville Island Reserve Resort, an exclusive adult-only Karisma Hotels & Resorts property in the Riviera Maya of Mexico. It can accommodate up to 280 guests, has three small meeting rooms, numerous connecting suites for larger groups, a range of group activities, and a well-informed staff to coordinate events.
