La séptima edición del Festival Gastronómico Restaurant Week llega a Santo Domingo en noviembre

Santo Domingo, RD. – Tras su éxito en Santiago de los Caballeros y Punta Cana, llega a Santo Domingo su festival gastronómico: Restarant Week 2024.

La Asociación de Hoteles y Turismo de la República Dominicana y la Asociación Dominicana de Restaurantes han anunciado la séptima edición del festival Restarurant Week Santo Domingo 2024. Esta celebración busca resaltar la gastronomía de la ciudad y presentar a la República Dominicana como un destino culinario importante en la región.

Omar Cepeda Darauche, presidente de la Asociación Dominicana de Restaurantes, detalló el festival donde se prevé una variada oferta gastronómica. Este evento permite disfrutar de la diversidad de sabores dominicanos durante una semana.

Este año, el evento se extendió a las regiones Este y Norte del país. Además, los comensales podrán votar por su restaurante preferido para premiarlo como el mejor restaurante.

La séptima edición de SDQ Gastronómico 2024 cuenta con el patrocinio de American Express, el Ministerio de Turismo, El Catador, la Cervecería Nacional Dominicana, Cerveza Corona, entre otros.

La Semana de los Restaurantes es una oportunidad para disfrutar de la oferta culinaria de los mejores restaurantes a precios reducidos. Participar en Restaurant Week aumenta la visibilidad de los restaurantes.

Historia de la Restaurant Week

La Semana de los Restaurantes se originó en Nueva York. Fue una idea de Tim Zagat y Joe Baum hace más de 30 años para dinamizar la industria durante una época del año de baja actividad. Este evento facilita la degustación de la amplia oferta culinaria a precios accesibles.

¿Cómo funciona?

En la Restaurant Week, los restaurantes participantes ofrecen menús especiales a precios fijos, que oscilan entre los 30 y los 60 dólares. Esta es una gran oportunidad para explorar nuevos restaurantes y convertir a los primerizos en clientes habituales.
