The popular area of Punta Cana has established itself as a tourist magnet and the airlines continue to bet on increasing their operations to the largest vacation spot in the DR. In the special case of Latam the airline will increase its weekly flights to 14 between Lime and Punta Cana starting next December 1st.
Latam currently operates 12 services per week between Lima and Punta Cana with Airbus A319 and Airbus A320 aircraft with 144 and 174 seats respectively.
The aforementioned airline already has its flights scheduled during the high season. Latam will continue to operate on the same aircraft.
In the link between the Peruvian capital and the largest tourist pole in the Caribbean, the airline sky it is the only competitor of Latam, with an operation of five flights per week, according to Aviacionline.
