Punta Cana. The former president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, Luis Rubiales, is reportedly in Punta Cana for two months, overseeing a project of 60 luxury apartments in the tourist area.

Images of the construction of these apartments in Playa Bávaro have gone viral, showcasing various amenities like a private beach club, golf course, restaurants, and a hotel chain.

Rubiales has been in the Dominican Republic for nearly two months. Recently, a judge investigating the ‘Super Cup case’ conducted searches in multiple locations, leading to the revelation of Rubiales’ whereabouts.

The investigation included searches at the RFEF headquarters, La Cartuja stadium, and the legal office that advised the Federation, but Rubiales could not be found. News of his stay in Punta Cana surfaced after this event.
