Luxurious Residences in the Dominican Republic

Santo Domingo.- A luxury mansion in the Dominican Republic is for sale for $45 million. The mansion is located in La Romana, within a Dominican tourist complex, and is being sold by Sotheby’s International Realty.

The mansion was purchased by Stanley and Conchita Meek in 2017. It offers a variety of luxurious features, including a trained staff of eleven, six kitchens, and a Range Rover vehicle. The mansion has approximately 25,000 square feet of area, mainly on two floors.

This price makes the mansion one of the most expensive residential properties in the Dominican Republic. It surpasses recent purchases of other celebrity homes, such as Leo Messi’s $11 million estate in North Miami, Shakira’s $16 million Florida residence, and Ivana Trump and Jared Kushner’s $24 million home in the southern United States.

The story also presents the journey of the transformation of this mansion from an uninhabited property to a luxurious and service-rich property. The Meeks saw an opportunity despite its challenging terrain and decided to buy it in 2017. They demolished the original structure and hired architect Arturo Despradel to construct the mansion.

The mansion has ten guest rooms, 13.5 bathrooms, and three bedrooms and bathrooms for service personnel. Although the Meeks initially intended this mansion to be their “last home,” they recently discovered a new opportunity through Conchita’s son, Sergio Llach, a broker with Sotheby’s International Realty.
