Marriott International in the Caribbean and Latin America is eager to bring to light the latest extension to their All-Inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy portfolio. The recently refurbished Sunrise Miches Beach Resort, All-Inclusive is set to become Marriott Miches Beach, An All-Inclusive Resort by the first quarter of 2025. This will be the second all-inclusive establishment under the Marriott Hotels brand in the Caribbean and Latin America.
The resort presently boasts of 116 rooms situated on a sprawling 62-acre expanse in Miches, which is a 90-minute commute from Punta Cana International Airport. The Sunrise Miches Beach Resort with its luxury adults-only accommodation with selected rooms offering direct pool access include a total of 55 suites of various categories like Grand Jr. Suite With Jacuzzi and Grand Duplex Suite Swim Up.
On conclusion next year, the Project promises an addition of 252 rooms in the family unit of various categories including 40 luxury suites with private pool or jacuzzi access. Upon completion, the project will offer a total of 500 rooms dispersed between the Grand Deluxe and Family sections.
Christian Nieves, the commercial manager of Sunrise Miches Beach Resort, indicates several gastronomic amenities. Under its roof, the hotel houses sophisticated bars, three
restaurants and three “pop-up venues”, including Coral Kitchen offering a variety of international cuisines; Spices, which presents a fusion of authentic Asian dishes with a spicy kick; Mar de Aromas, offering Mediterranean-inspired dishes intended to appeal to all senses. Additionally, Aqua, a Snack Bar serves innovative meals using fresh ingredients, and The Sweet Corner provides an array of cold and 
hot beverages alongside sweet and savory treats.
According to Ángel García, proprietor of the property, the hotel will soon incorporate a new restaurant under the signature of Chef Tita – a contract already having been signed. This new establishment (not included in the resort package) will contribute to the promotion of Dominican culinary art.
The Grand Spa, a place of 
relaxation, offers guests an unforgettable experience of personal care and rejuvenation. It consists of personalized treatments under the guidance of wellness experts. To enhance the experience of its guests, Sunrise Miches Beach Resort will also contain around 8,600 square feet of interior meeting space with a large convention center beginning operations in early December. The new venue will host various events such as conventions, meetings, weddings, and conferences, providing a fully equipped gym. 
With an investment of approximately US$20 million currently in progress (which includes a children’s water park), in addition to an approximate US$190 million already invested; the resort was set for its grand opening on September 12.
Alongside the renovation and expansion of the hotel, plans to permit the docking of boats when visitors choose to arrive by sea are underway. The waterfront setting of the hotel also allows for a variety of water sports activities.
Marriott’s decision to establish its All-Inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy brand for this hotel by 2025 helps affirm Miches as a prime destination, along with promoting job creation which presently employs over 700 staff
