Santo Domingo—A Statement From The Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and MSMEs (MICM) indicates that fuel prices in the Dominican Republic will change from Saturday, October 19. Main Fuels will hold their costs till October 25.
The government subsidized about 233.6 million pesos to shield Dominican population from international market price fluctuation.
The Price will fall to 190.03 pesos per gallon, a decrease of 2.35 pesos. By KeThe Roses will decrease by 2.70 pesos, to public selling at 219.10 pesos per gallon.
Cost of fuel oil #6 will fall to 166.01 pesos per gallon, a 2.95 pesos decrement and 1%S fuel oil will be 178.55 pesos per gallon, dropping by 3.85 pesos.
Other Fuels
For the week of October 19 to 25, 2024, fuels prices are as follows:
- Premium gasoline: 290.10 pesos per gallon, no change.
- Regular gasoline: 272.50 per gallon, no change.
- Regular diesel: 221.60 per gallon, no change.
- Optimal diesel: 239.10 pesos per gallon, no change.
- Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG): 132.60 pesos per gallon, no change.
- Natural Gas: 43.97 pesos per m³, no change.
Weekly average exchange rate stands at 60.20 pesos, as per Central Bank’s daily report.
