With Punta Cana trending as one of the most popular Caribbean destinations this year, many international hotel companies are announcing a host of new projects at the coastal hotspot. The last one to do it is HM Hotels, which is relaunching two of its main properties in Punta Cana this November. As travelers increasingly demand luxury and unique experiences, HM Hotels has radically renovated two of its most impressive properties. As Punta Cana prepares for the busiest winter season on record, here’s the latest on two of their newest luxury resorts.
HM Hotels launches two new resorts in these trendy beach locations. Punta Cana is trendy among travelers this year. The Dominican Republic’s top tourist destination welcomes more than 70% of the country’s travelers, and with that number continuing to grow, new resorts are needed to meet demand. That’s why HM Hotels recently decided to renovate two of its properties in Punta Cana to further improve the guest experience. The properties, which used to operate under the whala!hotels brand, have undergone extensive renovations to prepare them for their relaunch under the new HM brand.
The first of the two properties, HM Playa Bávaro, will be a 50-room boutique-style resort with beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea. The adults-only property is designed to give guests direct access to Punta Cana’s most famous beach, Bávaro, where they can enjoy a refreshing dip in the sea, as well as endless outdoor activities. The renowned property also features luxurious suites equipped with all the amenities needed for a paradise getaway. Two outdoor pools, including a rooftop one with ocean views, and an Italian-inspired restaurant complete the experience at one of Punta Cana’s most intimate properties.
HM Hotels also debuts a second property in Bayahibe, an immensely popular tourist destination just south of Punta Cana. Known for its verdant rainforests, crystal-clear waters, and beautiful national parks, Bayahibe is a great option for travelers looking for a quieter, more relaxed experience. HM Soul of Bayahibe has about 290 rooms and an extensive list of amenities. The exclusive complex is built on a cliff overlooking the crystal clear waters of Bayahibe. Guests can splash around in 5 beautiful outdoor pools that resemble a tropical oasis. Surrounded by lush tropical forests, guests can relax in a tranquil environment, making it the perfect choice for an adults-only getaway. Travelers can expect an unparalleled all-inclusive stay, complete with excellent restaurants, bars, and nightly entertainment, all of which are the main focus of HM’s newest property.
Punta Cana is undoubtedly a tourist power; the coastal destination is paving the way for new unique experiences in luxury travel. The growing number of trips means that more and more companies are launching new resorts in this popular hotspot. Late last year, Falcon’s Beyond opened the state-of-the-art Kathmandu theme park in Punta Cana, the first in the Caribbean. Combined with Meliá’s luxury resorts, travelers can enjoy a unique fusion of entertainment and high-end accommodations. Meanwhile, existing resorts are undergoing massive renovations to prepare for an increasing number of travelers. Last year, Paradisus Palma Real completed a costly $40 million renovation that enhanced the property with fresh interiors, new amenities, and the promise of world-class service.
This year, Punta Cana is expected to break all of its travel records as visitors flock to experience everything the coastal destination has to offer.
