The President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, Mohamed Irfaan Ali, together with the delegation of his government, made an official visit to the Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ).

The president and his delegation were received by Frank Elias Rainieri and Francesca Rainieri, President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Puntacana Group, respectively. Also present were Giovanni Rainieri, Airside Director of Operations; and Albert Smith, Director of Landside Operations for the airport.

During the official visit, the delegation toured the expansion of Terminal B at the airport, where they could appreciate the innovation and modernity in its architectural design.

The meeting was held within the framework of initiatives to strengthen diplomatic relations between the two nations, established since 1970.
