The Northstar Stella Awards, voted on and judged by meeting planners, recognize the best hotels, airlines, convention and conference centers, cruise lines, tourism marketing organizations and DMCs from around the world.
PUNTA CANA, Dominican Republic, October 2023 — Northstar Meeting Group announced the results of its seventh annual edition of the Stella Awardswhich honors Paradisus Palma Real with a gold medal in the category of best renovation in international/US territory. A total of 242 organizations from around the world are being honored for consistently delivering quality service and innovation to meeting and event professionals.
This year, nearly 10,000 votes were cast worldwide for the 770 nominated destinations, hotels and service providers in 16 categories across six regions in the United States and abroad. Winners were selected for achieving overall excellence, exceptional food and beverage, staff professionalism, sustainability initiatives and other critical aspects of the meeting and event experience.

In December 2022, Paradisus Palma Real Golf & Spa Resort announced its official reopening following a $50 million renovation. During this impressive renovation, the resort also updated its 3,900 m2 convention center.
