Verón, Punta Cana, DR. – The Epicure by Paradisuscon as a gastronomic event, is advancing in its preparation for the month of November and already has the confirmation of internationally renowned figures.

Germán Ortega, Michelin Star, chef from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, trained in Sweden, England and in several cities in Spain, has already confirmed his participation.

The Epicure by Paradisus will be held from November 3 to 6 at the hotel Royal Paradise Palm

“My style is contemporary with a marked European essence, but made with local Canarian products, which in turn are products brought from outside, but that are here to stay. “Fish as the main product also involves me in my gastronomic world,” said Germán Ortega.

He perceives his participation in The Epicure by Paradisus as an experience that he takes to continue in the search for gastronomies different from yours and to which you can compare and enjoy.

In his opinion, Dominican gastronomy is still unknown to him and what he will discover during his stay in the Dominican Republic. “Since, as is well known, Canarian gastronomy is a confluence of products from South America and Central America; I am looking forward to comparing cultures and products.”

Regarding the expectations he has of appearing in one of the most important hotels in the region, such as the Paradisus Palma Real, he expressed that “what worries me most is living up to it and that the message reaches clients in a gastronomic and that these events serve to share and demonstrate that gastronomy is a way to mix cultures.”

He reiterated that his main objective is to share gastronomic culture with the Dominican gastronomic culture because for him the essence of the people is in their gastronomy.
