Punta Cana. A representation of the Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) participates in the Connect New World international aviation forum, which takes place in Santo Domingo.

The event serves as a unique opportunity to promote the Dominican Republic within the international aviation ecosystem.

For the local air terminal, participating: Giovanni Rainieri, director of Airside; Adolfo Rodríguez, manager of Arside; Massiel Jiménez, VIP Services manager and Alberto Smith, Lanside & Cargo director.

This event is the first to take place in Latin America, where representatives of airlines, airports and entities related to aeronautics converge, in order to make decisions that help shape the future of aviation.

Thanks to the management carried out by Aerodom and VINCI Airports together with the Ministry of Tourism, the Dominican Republic was selected as the venue for this important international event in recognition of the extraordinary post-pandemic recovery of air traffic and the outstanding performance of the tourism industry exhibited by the country globally.

With more than 15 years of realization, Connect is a leading event in Europe and other markets.
