Punta Cana Airport Earns ACI Level 3 Accreditation

Punta Cana.– Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) has been awarded Level 3 Customer Experience Accreditation by Airports Council International (ACI), a recognition that underscores its commitment to delivering high-quality passenger services. The certification, valid from August 7, 2025, to August 6, 2026, acknowledges the airport’s efforts to implement strategies and practices that ensure customer satisfaction. ACI commended PUJ for its ongoing dedication to enhancing the travel experience.

The airport also earned a 4-star rating from Skytrax after a three-day audit assessing its infrastructure, services, and overall passenger experience. The evaluation highlighted notable improvements, including terminal upgrades, expanded check-in areas, enhanced seating and family-friendly spaces, upgraded retail and dining options, and more efficient passenger processing systems.

According to PUJ officials, these milestones further consolidate the airport’s reputation as a regional leader in customer service and passenger experience.
