Punta Cana International Airport Wins Airport Service Quality Award

Punta Cana International Airport Wins Airport Service Quality Award

The Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) received for the 8th. consecutive year the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) award, awarded by the Airports Council International (ACI).

The recognition given to the PUJ as “Best Airport by Size and Region” in the category of 5 to 15 million passengers per year in the Caribbean and Latin America, places it among the best airports in the world, based on the experience of travelers.

Frank Elías Rainieri, president and CEO of Grupo Puntacana, expressed his pride in receiving this recognition, which reflects the commitment and dedication of the entire airport community. “Every day, we work tirelessly to offer our visitors a safe and enjoyable travel experience. This achievement is the result of the joint effort of all those involved in making our airport a benchmark of excellence.”

“The passenger is the center of everything, this is reflected in the aspects of the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) awards,” Rainieri added.

For his part, Luis Felipe de Oliveira, general director of ACI World, congratulated the entire PUJ team: “Congratulations, your passengers have spoken and recognized the successful efforts of your team to provide an excellent customer experience.”

This award recognizes the quality and excellence of the world's airports that offer the best experiences to travelers, with Punta Cana International Airport being the first in the Dominican Republic to achieve this recognition and maintain it for eight consecutive years.

The Airport Service Quality (ASQ) awards are the highest recognition for airport operators that distinguish the best airports in the world, for excellence in management and traveler service, compiled from the Traveler Satisfaction Survey conducted by ACI.
