The super-popular Paradisus Punta Cana, part of the exclusive Melia Paradisus brand, has announced it will undergo a mammoth renovation and expansion to transform itself into Punta Cana’s premier mega-hotel.
The Paradisus Palma Real Golf & Spa Resort, part of the same famous Melia brand, reopened after similar renovations in 2022.
The fantastic response to that renovation has spurred Melia to think even bigger. The Paradisus Palma Real Golf & Spa Resort received an impressive $58 million for its rejuvenation, while the Paradisus Punta Cana is planning to spend over $256 million.
This huge investment, along with modernized design, enhanced culinary offerings, and a diverse catalog of activities and amenities, will no doubt excite travelers.
However, the new mega-hotel will not be available until mid-2026, when construction is expected to be complete.
