Puntacana Resort Hosts a Vibrant ‘Owners Weekend’ 2023 with Pop Art Flair

Punta Cana Resort celebrated its traditional annual gathering, the ‘Owners Weekend,’ with a lively Pop Art theme, drawing inspiration from the vibrant 60s in the United States.

Over 400 families hailing from the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe, and the Dominican Republic came together to partake in a diverse lineup of activities tailored for the entire family, including wellness, sports, and entertainment.

The weekend commenced with a warm welcome cocktail at the La Caña Beach and Golf Clubhouse, where Frank Elias Rainieri, President & CEO of Puntacana Group, shared the remarkable achievements of the 2022-2023 period. He also unveiled plans for consolidation, expansion, and diversification in the short and medium term, emphasizing their commitment to benefiting Puntacana Resort owners and contributing to the development of the Punta Cana destination, the region, and the country.

At the welcome cocktail, the owners were introduced to the resort’s two new themed restaurants, BAO and Brassa, treating guests to a delectable pan-Asian fusion gastronomy, complemented by the finest cuts of meat and a meticulous selection of fresh seafood and fish.

Throughout the weekend, La Cana Golf & Beach Club hosted an array of activities centered around health and well-being. These included paddle tennis classes, invigorating yoga sessions by the sea, a creative macramé workshop, delightful tastings, and a barista workshop for coffee enthusiasts. Attendees were pampered with shiatsu massages by skilled therapists from Six Senses Spa, while live music and engaging children’s games added to the festive atmosphere.

Among the standout experiences was the “Sound Therapy on Board” session, where a select group of owners enjoyed a popular practice by strolling through the crystalline waters of Punta Cana, accompanied by soothing sounds from singing bowls. The serene journey culminated in a refreshing dip in a natural sea pool.

Golf enthusiasts engaged in a social tournament at the renowned Corales golf course, a professional venue that hosts the Corales Puntacana PGA TOUR Championship. Meanwhile, tennis players participated in a friendly match at the Oscar de la Renta Tennis Center, enhancing the spirit of camaraderie.

As night fell, attendees gathered at the Playa Blanca restaurant for an enchanting Pop Art-style dinner party under the stars. The evening featured iconic Punta Cana cuisine, live music, engaging children’s activities, and immersive thematic experiences, making it a truly memorable affair.

The event concluded on a delightful note with a Sunday Brunch at The Grill restaurant, located at La Cana Golf & Beach Club. Guests indulged in an array of local dishes and favorite menu items, accompanied by live music and fun-filled activities for children, adding a perfect finale to the remarkable ‘Owners Weekend’ 2023.
