Punta Cana.- The esteemed Puntacana Polo Club is gearing up for a groundbreaking moment in polo as it prepares to host the inaugural International Women’s Polo Cup.
Scheduled for next Saturday, January 27, the event will take place in the modern facilities of Puntacana Polo Club within the renowned Puntacana Resort, marking a historic occasion as the first women’s polo tournament in the Dominican Republic.
A gathering of elite players from nine countries will grace the event. Sixteen outstanding women’s polo players, with stellar careers in international competitions, will compete.
Agustín Arestizabal, General Director of Puntacana Polo Club, expressed his enthusiasm by revealing that each team will have recognized professionals in the field of women’s polo.
