The Muses of Punta Cana honor Dominican baseball

This year Las Musas de Punta Cana paid tribute to Dominican baseball players.

The troupe was born as an initiative of a group of ladies from the Punta Cana community, who each year jointly design their carnival costumes, choosing a theme representative of Dominican culture.

Inspiration and costumes of King Momo

King Momo’s cape and crown were designed and made by the plastic artist Luis Rivas.

Rivas is known as a creator of carnival fantasies, standing out in troupes, floats, and costumes for beauty queens, which represent us as a country.
