Santo Domingo, RD.- The opening of the Courtyard by Marriott Santo Domingo Piantini marks a new milestone for Real Hotels & Resorts, as this is the chain's 22nd property in the region and the third in the Dominican Republic. This 160-room hotel in a modern 17-story tower, installed in the heart of Piantini, the new business and leisure district of the Dominican capital, imposing a new standard in the city's hospitality industry.

In an exclusive meeting with THEMAG Magazine, José Martí, Corporate Director of Operations at Real Hotels & Resorts, assures that the Central American chain decided to continue expanding in the Dominican Republic, due to the “great momentum that the tourism sector has been presenting in the country, with unique double-digit growth throughout the region,” he said.

In addition, added to this is “the great business climate, legal security for investments and the support that the Dominican government is providing, led by President Luis Abinader, to the tourism and investment sector,” Martí confided.

The group will continue investing in the country with the complete remodeling of the Quality Hotel Real Aeropuerto Santo Domingo, a property close to the air terminal of the Dominican capital, for which we have already closed the contract to install the Four Points by Sheraton brand in that property. This property fills a gap we had in the market, “we needed an alternative between our high luxury hotel, Real InterContinental Santo Domingo and the Quality Aeropuerto and the Courtyard brand is the best option for this purpose,” Díaz explained.
