Santo Domingo, RD.- Arajet, the low-price airline established a collaboration as an official sponsor of the Dominican National Ballet with the aim of elevating the art and culture of the country by contributing to enriching the artistic panorama.
As part of this initiative, a special presentation was held for Arajet collaborators of the piece “Botero” by Annabelle Lopez and under the direction of Stephanie Bauger, inspired by the works of the Colombian painter Fernando Botero, highlighting his distinctive style with voluminous and exaggerated figures.
Manuel Luna, Chief Communications And External Affairs Officer of Arajet, expressed the airline's satisfaction in contributing to connecting the continent through a cultural seal that reflects the identity of the Dominican Republic and the rest of the region.
“For Arajet it is a great honor to support these initiatives and it is part of our commitment to the country's art, promoting culture and artistic activities that promote our identity,” stated Luna.
Stephanie Bauger, director of the Dominican National Ballet, indicated that Arajet has been fundamental for this stage of expansion of local productions and artists, and appreciated the collaboration to continue elevating art and culture.
The function was held within the framework of the International Book Fair in the Carlos Piantini Room of the National Theater where Arajet's collaborators and their families were able to appreciate in a creative way the life and work of this Colombian artist.
