Santo Domingo. Arajet, the low-price Dominican airline, reported that during the month of November it transported 96,586 passengers, making it the busiest month of 2024 for the airline, moving 7% of travelers who entered or left the country. In addition, last month Arajet managed to exceed one million passengers in 2024, being the first Dominican airline to transport this number of passengers in a year.

These figures are part of the report of the Civil Aviation Board (JAC) that provide information that projects Arajet as the most active Dominican airline with notable growth since the beginning of its operations at the Punta Cana Airport and expects it to increase in the month of December.

They explained that Arajet currently represents 85% of the passengers transported between local airlines, which, added to more than 25,000 connecting passengers, exceeds 120,000 users, being the Dominican airline with the greatest movement of flights from the different airports in the country.

Victor Pacheco Méndez, CEO & Founder of Arajet, expressed his gratitude to the passengers who have preferred the airline as their best option for their tourism or business trips and who have made it the fourth busiest airline in the Dominican Republic. .

Arajet will continue to offer the lowest rates on the market and a quality service with the highest standards to position the country as an air hub in the region and strengthen the local tourism industry.”Pacheco indicated.
