Santo Domingo. Eighteen employees of the Punta Cana – Macao Energy Consortium (CEPM) were recognized with technical certifications granted by the Superintendency of Electricity (SIE), covering two categories: Medium and Low Voltage Network Distribution Installer, and Residential and Commercial Electrician Installer, which aim to guarantee the highest safety standards in the various electrical infrastructures in which they operate.

The National Institute for Technical and Professional Training (INFOTEP), in partnership with the SIE, was the educational institution responsible for accrediting licenses after completing a 40-hour program of specialized training taught by expert professionals with extensive experience in the field, thus guaranteeing the acquisition of knowledge and advanced technical tools.

Of the eighteen CEPM collaborators, 13 were accredited as Medium and Low Voltage Network Distribution Installers, while 5 received the Residential and Commercial Electrician Installer license. With these certifications, the participants will be better prepared to face the challenges of their profession with a renewed and qualified approach.

“These validations reinforce our commitment to the ongoing training and professional development of our technicians, ensuring that they are always at the forefront of best practices and technological advances in the energy sector at national and international level,” said Oscar San Martín, general manager of CEPM.

CEPM not only seeks to continue guaranteeing an efficient service, but also strengthens its capacity to offer safe solutions, which translates into a direct benefit for its clients, who can rely on a solid operation carried out by a team trained to the highest standards.
