The Airport Department (DA) participated for the third consecutive year in the Aeronautical Sector Job Fair, organized by the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (IDAC), where it offered employment opportunities and relevant information on the sector at its stand.

The event, held at the headquarters of the Higher Academy of Aeronautical Sciences (ASCA), was attended by hundreds of young people with training in the aeronautical sector and other disciplines, interested in being taken into account.

“I think it is a great opportunity that companies in the sector offer to young people and, especially, to those who have training in the sector as is my case, said Helioenay Castro,” who came to deposit his resume.

Companies and institutions such as IASCA, Punta Cana Airport, Arajet, SKYhigh, Crew members VIP, SIPEN, Beforeboarding Airport VIP Services, CESAC and others also participated in the event.

Among the vacancies offered by the participating entities and institutions are: maintenance technician, customer service, aeronautical technician, warehouse manager, software engineer, requirements analyst, among others.

The job fair, which is held on the occasion of aviation week, was attended by different authorities from the sector.
