Santo Domingo, DR. – Tourism Minister David Collado was named by Bloomberg Line as one of the most influential people in the Dominican Republic, in the edition “The 500 Most Influential People in Latin America 2024”.

Bloomberg highlights that David Collado, who has served as Minister of Tourism since 2020, has become a global benchmark for tourism recovery after the pandemic.
“The country registered more than 10 million international tourists in 2023, a record that positions it as the second most visited Latin American destination,” the media outlet said.
Along with the minister, the list includes businessman Felipe Vicini, whose leadership in manufacturing operations, sugar mills and finances was highlighted.
Also on the list are businessman Frank Rainieri, founder of Grupo Punta Cana, and Manuel Alejandro Grullón, president of the board of directors of Grupo Popular.
The female figure was present on the list, as among the most influential people in the Dominican Republic and Latin America are Ligia Bonetti Du-Breil, executive president of Grupo SID and Stephanie Cabral, founder of The Cabral Group Team.
