In a statement about its global operations posted on its Web portal, Vinci Aiports states that more than 318 million passengers traveled through its network in 2024, 11 million more than in 2019 (+3.7%) and almost 25 million more than in 2023 (+8.5%).
It adds that 2019 traffic levels will be surpassed this year, particularly thanks to a strong acceleration in traffic at Japan's airports after the summer and double-digit growth at several airports. Four airports operated by VINCI Airports have surpassed record thresholds in 2024: 35 million passengers were welcomed in Lisbon, 26 million at Santiago Airport in Chile, 15 million in Edinburgh in the United Kingdom and 8 million in Belgrade in Serbia.

Vinci Aiports reported that in environmental terms, the company obtained the Green Airport Award given by ACI-LAC in recognition of the good practices carried out by the company, maintained its ACA level 3 certification of the Carbon Footprint Accreditation Program thanks to the investment and development of projects to reduce your carbon footprint; as well as the recertification of its environmental management system under the ISO 14001 standard.

Infante reported that this year Aerodom will begin construction of the new AILA passenger terminal that will accommodate the continuous growth in passenger traffic that the Dominican Republic has experienced. This new terminal will begin with an investment of 250 million dollars and will have a capacity of 4 million passengers per year.
