According to Pablo Jaitman, country manager to take off Colombia, Punta Cana has seen a growing demand, which makes it the second most wanted vacation package to take off in 2024 and the main international destination.
By 2025, travel trends indicate that Madrid, Miami, Orlando, Punta Cana, Mexico and Panama remain the main international destinations for Colombian tourists. Nationally, Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, Barranquilla, Cartagena, Santa Marta and San Andrés continue to dominate.
Jaitman expressed optimism about the growth of tourism in Colombia, citing the various landscapes and cultural heritage of the country as key factors. He stressed that taking off will continue to expand its offerings to meet the growing demand of local and international travelers.
