Flights from the traditional tourist issuing markets to the Dominican Republic stood out in 2024 (until November) in the average seat occupancy in the capacity of the aircraft, some of these with a high index, even when they are operational in certain seasons during the year such as summer or winter.
This occupancy does not necessarily represent a greater flow of passengers from the respective markets, taking into account, for example, that from the United States, 30,613 flights have been operated by more than 20 airlines that transported more than three million passengers until December 14, led by JetBlue with 9,958 flights, while a little more than 175 thousand passengers arrived from the United Kingdom on 530 flights, which does represent a higher percentage of effective occupancy with TUI Airways operating 381 flights and British Airways with 146, the rest are distributed in charter operations or private executive flights.
From Canada, the second most important market for the flow of tourist arrivals to the Dominican Republic, 6,205 flights have been registered with six airlines operating, such as: Air Transat (1,997 flights); Sunwing (1,730); Air Canada (1,150); Westjet (788); Arajet (320) and Flair with 161, in addition to other airlines with less than 100 operations in the year with a little more than a million passengers.

From Germany, Condor airlines with 86.9% occupancy of its 497 and Eurowings with 83.5% of its 231 flights, are responsible for the arrival of more than 120 thousand tourists from this country on the 730 flights. The remaining two flights were operated by Evelop.
From Latin America, Panama with 33,252 passengers, with Copa Airlines operating 3,869 flights, Peru presents the second highest percentage average with 84.4% in 1,167 flights through which 84,449 passengers arrived and from Colombia, 301,272 passengers arrived in 3,280 flights.
