In the first “Posadas Day”, called Vision 2025, the hotel group has announced the investment of nearly 17 billion pesos (Mexican pesos), to develop 29 new hotels, adding 4,500 additional rooms to the current offer of more than 30 thousand rooms in 200 hotels in Mexico and the Dominican Republic.

This growth reflects the strength of its 9 brands and the power of its digital platform, which in 2024 allowed 70% of the 10 million travelers who chose them to make their reservations with ease and confidence.

Dia Posadas 1“We are committed to continuing to transform the hospitality landscape with vision, innovation and passion.” indicate in a statement

The expansion plan that the Posadas Group has in the pipeline includes agreements with varying degrees of commitment to operate 29 new hotels and almost 4,500 new rooms (15% more than the company's current capacity). Likewise, it involves an approximate investment of almost $17 billion pesos (US$850 million), of which Posadas will contribute 2% of the resources and 98% will correspond to investors independent of the hotel group.

Dia Posadas 2With a presence in the most important and visited beach and city destinations in Mexico and the Dominican Republic, Posadas owns, leases, manages and markets more than 200 hotels and more than 30,000 rooms.

In this context, the company will launch and open Fiesta Americana Funeeq in mid-2025, which in addition to representing the internationalization of the Fiesta Americana brand, is the first concept of its kind within the hotel company and will offer its guests the best entertainment experience for the whole family.

In that sense, it projects the inauguration of the Fiesta Americana Funeeq in Punta Cana between the end of the second quarter of 2025, which will have 500 rooms, doubling its room capacity in the region, where they already have Live Aqua Punta Cana since 2019.

Grupo PosadasLikewise, the company announced the opening of two new Live Aqua hotels in Mexico City and the strengthening of Invitta, the new gastronomic platform that has seven brands of signature restaurants and bars in different cities in the country.

Posadas' growth and expansion strategy, in the nine brands that participate within the sector: Live Aqua, Grand Fiesta Americana, Curamoria Collection, Fiesta Americana, Fiesta Americana Funeeq, The Explorean, Fiesta Inn, Gamma and one, is strongly anchored in a customer-centric approach and the integration of new technologies and tools for the benefit of all its users. The above is reflected in Fiesta Americana Travelty, its reservation technology platform, the digital concierge, touchless check-in, among others.

Posadas' strategic approach is supported by operational indicators that are above market levels, with average occupancy levels of 64% and effective rates (RevPAR) higher than those of 2023. This indicator is decisive because it allows performance to be evaluated. of the hotels and identify the operational efficiency of each one.

When referring to these indicators, Enrique Calderón, Vice President of Hotel Operations at Posadas stated “In general, within all business segments, Upscale and Luxury, Beach (Resorts) and Midsacale and Economy, increases have been reported in occupancy levels and effective rate. “This data is very relevant because it demonstrates the trust of our guests, while our investors know that their money is in the best hands.”

He noted that “the key to the success that has allowed us to develop the company's business plan lies mainly in a sustainable vision focused on the customer, with a strong technological focus that brings together the best of all worlds to serve the different types of travelers.”
