Madrid, Spain. – Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, the luxury lifestyle brand behind several of the most iconic destinations in the world, announced yesterday its first opening in the Dominican Republic, with the Rosewood Punta Cana, in a project in partnership with the Puntacana Group .
The new resort, scheduled to launch in 2029, will represent a significant addition to Rosewood's global portfolio and growing Caribbean collection, infusing its approach and core brand values into the island nation, investors said following a meeting with the Minister of Tourism of the Dominican Republic within the framework of the Madrid International Tourism Fair, Fitur 2025.
Frank Elias Rainieri Kuret, CEO of the Puntacana Group, when giving details of the agreement, explained that by initiating the association with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, and signing the development of Rosewood Punta Cana, they are reinforcing the shared vision of positioning the Dominican Republic as a destination First-class luxury for the most demanding travelers.

The Rosewood Punta Cana
Established in Puntacana Resort, a 15,000-acre community that includes luxury residences, resorts, a PGA TOUR championship golf course, the Oscar de la Renta Tennis Center, shopping, an equestrian center and an ecological reserve, Rosewood Punta Cana will offer guests exceptional access to an additional list of recreational amenities.
