Cap Cana, RD.- La Marina de Cap Cana anunció que este mes de diciembre quedará como una marca especial en los libros ya que el pasado día 2 fue establecido un nuevo récord de captura y liberación del Marlin Azul en el Océano Atlántico por la embarcación Trillo Bite, durante un día normal de pesca.

Carlo Kier propietario de la embarcación, logró la hazaña de liberar en un solo día 25 marlins azules junto a otros pescadores como Braizon Cedeño, Javier Silva, Carlos Rodríguez, Oscar Benito Farias y el capitán que conducía la lancha, Juan Ramón Colón Cruz.

Diciembre es el mes en que se apuesta a estos récords y el anterior logrado fue el 11 de diciembre del 2016 por la embarcación Blue Bierd de Jesús Montado que fue capitaneada por  Miguel Tirado, y los pescadores fueron Oscar Benito, Hector de los Santos y Christian Moto.

Otras lanchas también tuvieron un extraordinario día de pesca. Seis lanchas lograron liberar 100 especies de pico como el caso de Fresh Air que liberó 15 marlins azules, 1 marlin blanco y 1 pez vela, al igual que San Elías liberó 12 azules, 3 blancos y 1 pez vela.

Por su lado Salty Fare liberó 14 azules, 2 blancos y 4 peces y la embarcación Wicked Wahine liberó 14 marlins azules, y 2 pez vela y finalmente Viking 68 logró pescar y liberar 4 marlins azules, y 1 pez vela.

Este nuevo record para el Atlántico desde marina Cap Cana reafirma el posicionamiento como marina deportiva de pesca de carácter mundial y la importancia de este turismo para la Republica Dominicana acompañando de esta manera al país y al Estado dominicano, en su misión de alcanzar los 12 millones de turistas en año.
