The National Police announced the celebration of its first international career, a Sports event which seeks to strengthen the ties between the institution and the community. The race will take place next Sunday, March 9 in Punta Cana, an emblematic destination of the country.

The announcement was made by Colonel Juan Antonio Bello Balaguer, along with General Jacobo Mateo Moquete, director of Sports of the National Policeand the colonel, central director of Planning and Development of the National Police. During an interview in CDN 37, the officers highlighted the importance of this event to promote integration and approach between citizens and the police institution.

They explained that the race has had three previous editions nationwide. The first was carried out in 2023 within the framework of the 88th anniversary of the National Police Foundation. Subsequently, two regional versions were carried out in different areas of the country, with a great reception by corridors and citizens. Due to the success of these events, the high police command decided to take the competition to an international level.
