Sanctions
Failure to renew the label on time establishes the following sanctions:

- RD$3,100.00 for cars that did not renew on the 2022-2023 label and previous years (RD$3,000.00 for fine for non-renewal + RD$100.00 for administrative termination).
In accordance with the provisions of Law 63-17 and its amendments, the vehicle circulation tax is paid by renewing the License Plate. The 2024-2025 label renewal process runs from Tuesday, October 22, 2024 to Friday, January 31, 2025.
Article 1 of Law 225-07 establishes the annual tax on the right to circulate vehicles of all types according to the following rate:
- Cars more than five (5) years old will pay the sum of one thousand five hundred pesos (RD$1,500.00) as a circulation fee.
- Vehicles with five (5) years of manufacture or less will pay three thousand pesos (RD$3,000.00)
