The Superintendency of Electricity (SIE) certified 15 employees of the Punta Cana Tourism Services Corporation (CTSPC), a company of the Puntacana Group, under the SIE energy standards.

This initiative, led by the Superintendency of Electricity (SIE) and implemented through training organized by the Institute of Technical Professional Training (Infotep), consolidates the company's technical capacity to continue operating within the highest national and international standards.

The certification ceremony was attended by leading energy sector companies, such as Consorcio Energético Punta Cana – Macao (CEPM), GEMSA Ingenieros de Desarrollo and Grupo CESA, reaffirming the industry's commitment to regulation and compliance with current regulations.

The certification process included 40 hours of specialized training, organized by SIE and executed by INFOTEP. This certification grants the company the ability to continue providing services within the electrical sector, ensuring that all its personnel are properly trained and regulated, and demonstrating the company's commitment to excellence and organizational development in the energy sector.

“From Puntacana Group and CTSPC continue to invest in our human capital to provide a better electric power service every day. We thank the Superintendence of Electricity for promoting the development, quality assurance and safety of the electrical industry in the Dominican Republic and INFORMATION PASS for their collaboration in this process,” said Francisco Suero, Director of Services at Grupo Puntacana.

This certification not only strengthens the skills of the staff, but also promotes the organizational development of the Puntacana Group. By being certified under national regulations, the company guarantees its permanence in the energy sector and complies with the legal requirements necessary to operate as an electric service provider.

“As a company that works in electrical services, we must be certified and aligned with national and international standards. This certification supports us and allows us to continue providing this crucial service for the energy system industry,” added Suero.
