Two hotel establishments have received from the Ministry of Tourism, through the vice-ministry of quality, the approval of the “Qualitur” Tourism Quality Standards Certificate, thus raising the number of 29 establishments supervised and approved to obtain this seal that was established in the Ministry of Tourism with the objective of recognizing and certifying establishments in the sector that meet a series of requirements and pass the inspection process.

In July 2022, this seal was presented that certifies establishments in the tourism sector that apply good practices in their service processes with the aim of ensuring the satisfaction of the tourist, the locals, the safety of the facilities and the destination.

In this way, the Ministry of Tourism, through the team of the Vice Ministry of Quality of Tourist Services, has carried out inspection work, which entails a well-structured, demanding and comparable process with international standards by the inspection personnel.

We remember the Paradisus Palma Real and Meliá Punta Cana Beach Wellness hotels, they were the last two to receive Qualitur approval
