The event “The Wedding Party” was conducted by Santo Domingo-based Spirits Sessions, simulating a joyful wedding night ambiance. Guests were treated to a memorable night with live music, lavish drinks, and an exceptional dinner.
Leonardo Del Monte, one of Spirits Sessions’ organizers, pointed out “the distinctness of the event rested in its concept, unlike a real wedding, no matrimonial bonds were established during the party. The sole purpose was to mirror a grand wedding environment where guests’ only commitment is to relish the merriment“.
Del Monte further elaborated ,”We recognize that the luxury of dancing in pairs, that many envision during the wedding of their friends or acquaintances, was brought to life at our party. The underlying aim was to capture a wedding’s essence without the obligatory engagement rituals.”
He emphasized that the event was executed in collaboration with Portazul, an iconic city location, perfectly suited for the party. Andrés Lugo, the proprietor, contributed “to the project to assure top-notch setting and experience“.
The choice of venue was exemplary in crafting a remarkable yet informal wedding atmosphere. There was a selection of beverages from Casa Brugal including Champagne, Wines, Whiskies, Rums, and other premium liquors and spirits enhancing the experience for the attendees.
Miguel Toirac vouched for the event’s success, where along with the lively “crazy hour”, attendees created “memorable moments”.
Toirac remarked,”Our intention was for every guest to cherish the night as a true celebration, a magical reunion with friends and the potential birth of new friendships“.

Del Monte explained that the motivation behind the themed party was to offer a setting where people could dance and relish as though they were at a loved one’s wedding, but without the typical wedding formalities.
