Successful Second Day of Top Resa in Paris Leads to Dominican Republic’s Sellout

Paris France. – The second day of the Dominican Republic at the International Tourism Fair IFTM Top Resa 2023 in Paris proved to be successful. The activities at the Dominican Republic stand surpassed expectations in terms of the number of meetings and connections made between authorities, hoteliers, and companies in the travel and tourism industry. Minister of Tourism, David Collado, shared his experiences on social media, highlighting the large number of meetings and connections made in favor of Dominican tourism. He mentioned that the RD stand received a lot of attention and, along with the tourism team and private sector delegation, held important strategic meetings to bring more benefits to the country. Visitors to the fair not only sought information about the country’s natural and cultural offerings, as well as hotel and adventure options, but also got to enjoy the typical sweets which were a hit among attendees.

France will fly again to Punta Cana. The active presence of the Puntacana Group at the Paris International Fair IFTM Top Resa 2023 is due to Air France flights returning from the French capital to Punta Cana airport. This announcement was made by Minister Collado during a gala dinner hosted by Banco Popular Dominicano for officials, hoteliers, and tourism entrepreneurs interested in the Dominican Republic. Frank Elías Rainieri, president of the Punta Cana Group, was also present.

The first day of IFTM Top Resa was filled with energy, a great number of visitors, and a visit by a government official who emphasized the event’s importance for the tourism sector.
