Grupo Puntacana announced the fifteenth edition of the Punta Cana Carnival, to be held next Saturday, February 3, 2024, on Boulevard 1ro. November of Puntacana Village.

The doors open at 2:30 pm and the great parade will begin at 3:30 pm, with the participation of more than 20 troupes, more than 1,500 national and international carnival members, who will celebrate Dominican folklore and culture. It is estimated to receive more than 15 thousand people, including nationals and tourists.

During the event, the public will be able to enjoy the coronation of King or Queen Momo, which constitutes the big surprise of the festival gala, since the distinction is awarded to prominent and influential national personalities, who inspire society with their work. In previous editions, figures such as Oscar de La Renta, Marcos Díaz, Michel Camilo, José Antonio Molina, Freddy Ginebra have been crowned King Momo and, in 2020, the “Queen of Merengue”, Milly Quezada, was crowned the first Queen Momo.
