Punta Cana – One year after its opening, Katmandu Park Punta Cana closed its doors.
“Katmandu Park Punta Cana closes immediately. The commercial stores and the restaurant will remain operational,” reads the post published Thursday morning. They will consider the “future use of the property,” indicates a statement shared on the official website of the theme park and on social networks.
“We extend our thanks to all of our customers who enjoyed the park last year. For more information contact: reserva@katmanduparks.com”, concludes the communication.
Katmandu Park Punta Cana was inaugurated in February 2023 in a ceremony led by the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader. The theme park had an investment of more than 60 million dollars.
The park featured innovative attractions, the first of their kind, that immersed visitors in the company’s original and proprietary franchise, The Hidden Realms of Kathmandu.
