From February 23 to 25, Paradisus Palma Real will celebrate the second edition of the gastronomic platform “The Epicurus of Paradisus” which will have as special guests the renowned chefs Luigi Puello, considered one of the professionals in the area of gastronomy with the greatest academic and professional preparation in our country, and Irving Cano, who has positioned himself as one of the best in Mexico , thanks to its daring and irreverent cuisine.
Francisco Camps, Manager Director of Meliá Hotels International in the Dominican Republic, reported that, like last year, there will be two Master Classes and an 8-course dinner/pairing; prior to this, a mixology experience will be offered by George Valdez, Bars & Mixology Manager of the exclusive hotel complex.

During The Epicure by Paradisus celebration, two Masterclasses will be offered, one scheduled for Friday, February 23 by chef Luigi Puello at 4:00 in the afternoon, who promises an exceptional gastronomic journey where each dish will be a masterpiece that demonstrates how Dominican cuisine masterfully uses various flavors simultaneously to create an explosion on the palate, and the second on Sunday the 25th at 12:30 noon, Mexican chef Irving Cano will reveal the secrets behind authentic Mexican gastronomy, while On Saturday the 24th, an 8-course pairing dinner will be offered.
Chef Luigi Puello has a culinary training that begins at the renowned School of Gastronomy in the United States, the CIA “Culinary Institute of America” in California, where he completed his Culinary Certification
Chef Irving Cano's creative cuisine has led him to be present at various gastronomic festivals and events such as: Millesimé GNP Weekend, Vallarta-Nayarit Gastronómica, Chef of the Year Mexico, among others. One of his latest recognitions has been being considered by the magazine “Food & Wine in Spanish”, as one of the 12 “Best New Chefs” 2022.
