The event was held at the new Secrets Tides Punta Cana, and sales for 2023 were recognized, confirming the support of Dominicans in local luxury tourism.
Punta Cana, DR February 2024.- Inclusive Collection, part of World of Hyatt, held the fifth edition of “Top Ten”, in which it recognized tour operators for their performance in the marketing of the different resorts that belong to the hotel chain.
The awards were presented by Daniel Hernández, VP of operations in the Dominican Republic and Colombia; Matthias Hohner, regional commercial vice president for the Dominican Republic and Colombia; Ana Laura Moreno, commercial director of the Dominican Republic area, and Adelfa Peña, local market sales director, being the first place winners Operahotel, followed by Expertravellers, and in third position, Conextur.
During the important event, Viajes Alkasa, Suplitur, Gniall, Viajes AGT, Sun Paradise, Atom Dominicana and Travelwise were also recognized, who have been a fundamental part of achieving the objectives of the year 2023, thanks to their excellent results.
The selection of the winners was made taking into account the volume of sales, the quality of the services offered, the ability to adapt to changing market conditions and the general satisfaction of customers.
Matthias Hohner offered his congratulations to all the winners, recognizing the extraordinary sense of commitment, high performance and dedication they demonstrated during 2023. “Their passion, vision and dedication to offering an excellent experience to our clients from the moment they make the reservation, and the trust in each of our fifteen hotels brings us today to celebrate the Top Ten 2023. Without a doubt, their ability to connect with each one of them is exceptional and key for us,” he quoted at the meeting.
He added that 2023 was a year full of changes and challenges, just as new hotels were added to the Inclusive Collection portfolio in the Dominican Republic. Thanks to joint efforts, which allowed us to achieve significant results, exceeding the objective set for last year.
