The hotel chain signed The Code agreement-commitment with the world organization ECPAT motivated because, being leaders in hospitality, they see that one of the biggest and most serious problems that has been detected at a social level in the tourism industry is Sexual Exploitation Commercial for Girls, Boys and Adolescents in Tourism Trips (ESCNNA-VT).

It highlights that tourism is considered one of the largest industries internationally, since it generates a large number of jobs and economic resources around the world.

He adds that due to its impact, it also represents an economic, social, and environmental phenomenon whose effects are not always positive. One of the biggest and most serious problems that has been detected at a social level is the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Girls, Boys, and Adolescents on Tourism Trips (CSEC-VT).

A press document states that this problem has grown rapidly, impacting not only the tourist destination but also businesses, entertainment centers, bars, hotels, and society itself.
