Punta Cana, La Altagracia. – The Corales Puntacana Championship has been nominated in the ‘Best Marketing Initiative’ category for the 2022-2023 PGA TOUR Tournament Awards. This nomination serves as recognition for its innovative ideas and showcases the remarkable impact PGA TOUR tournaments have on their communities.
“The PGA TOUR Tournament Awards is an initiative that acknowledges the outstanding work of tournaments featured on the calendar. We take great pride in being nominated for having the best marketing initiatives. This nomination is a testament to the hard work of our entire team in making this country-brand event the success it is,” said Manuel Sajour, Executive Director of Marketing at Grupo Puntacana and Director of the Corales Puntacana Championship.

Also nominated in the same category were the Barracuda Championship, Arnold Palmer Invitational Presented by Mastercard, Wells Fargo Championship, RBC Canadian Open, and Rocket Mortgage Classic.
Recently, the PGA TOUR and Puntacana Resort & Club announced that the Corales Puntacana Championship will take place from April 15-21, 2024, at the Corales Golf course. This marks the 3rd edition of the tournament as part of a renewed contract that extends until 2025.
As always, the Corales Puntacana Championship, which offers 300 FedExCup points, will be broadcasted live on Golf Channel. The tournament has a digital and print media reach of 4.8 billion impressions nationally and internationally in 153 countries, with an audience of 3.4 million viewers in the United States.
