Air Europa in Madrid, Spain has announced that it will offer 5.8 million seats across all of its routes for the upcoming winter season. These flights will provide connections to the top destinations in Spain, Europe, and America.
The airline has stated that seat availability for European flights has increased by 9% compared to 2023, totaling over 1.7 million seats. Among the key contributors to this increase is Venice, the noteworthy “City of Canals”, valued for its high touristic appeal.
In America, the seat availability offered by Air Europa will surpass 1.4 million this winter. This is due in part to two weekly flights to the city of Santiago de los Caballeros in the Dominican Republic and four flight frequencies from Madrid-Barajas to diverse destinations including Panama, Caracas, Asunción and Salvador de Bahía in Brazil.
The airline, for its flights, will be utilizing its Dreamliner fleet. These flights will be joined by the latest Boeing 787 aircraft, which is the most sophisticated and efficient in its category. It has the ability to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 25%, and it can also decrease the noise impact by up to 60% due to its design and motor efficiency.
On the other hand, for short and medium-distance flights, Air Europa will persist with using the Boeing 737, a highly efficient and popular narrow-bodied aircraft model in the market.
