The Dominican Association of Tourist Transporters of Veron, Bávaro, Punta Cana (ADOTRATUR), expressed their support for the executive director of the National Institute of Traffic and Land Transportation (INTRANT), Hugo Beras, after being questioned for alleged irregularities in the traffic light tender.
The transporters of the tourist area considered the occasion appropriate to extend their full support to the management of Beras towards the entity, since they understand the interest it has had in organizing the Tourist Transport sector of the entire Dominican Republic.
“We know your probity and desire for the different modes of transportation to be regularized, complying with the standards and requirements of Dominican laws and regulations,” ADOTRATUR emphasized.
The tourist transporters reiterated confidence in Hugo Beras for his “career and commitment, good intentions and his inexorable condition as a good official attached to the constitution and Dominican laws.”
They maintained that an example of the INTRANT head’s commitment to benefit Dominican transportation is the process of renewal and updating of tourist transportation licenses, the opening of the INTRANT office in Punta Cana, as well as the inspection and control of the piracy.
In addition, it implemented the Parquéate Bien plan, the training of drivers, the delivery of licenses for the different corridors that operate in the country, the implementation of the Integrated Transportation System, the Sustainable Mobility programs, the approval of driver’s licenses in New York, among other important projects that speak for themselves about Beras and his great team of collaborators.
“As the Dominican Association of Tourist Transporters we offer our full support to the person of Hugo Beras and his actions always carried out in good faith and a high level of administrative responsibility,” the organization emphasized.
