The Civil Aviation Board (JAC) has announced an exciting increase in connectivity between the Dominican Republic and Venezuela, with several airlines looking to expand their operations to the Caribbean country. Notably, Turpial and Laser are among the airlines seeking to enhance their flight frequency to strengthen the ties between the two nations.
Turpial Airlines has put forth a request to conduct 51 flights on the Valencia (Venezuela) to Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) route from July to January. Similarly, Laser has sought special permission for 154 round-trip flights on the Caracas to Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) route between July and mid-September.
Furthermore, the JAC revealed plans to extend operations from the Dominican Republic to five other countries, including the United States, Panama, Colombia, Trinidad and Tobago, and France. This expansion in air travel will undoubtedly foster closer connections and facilitate seamless travel experiences for passengers from these regions.
