VERÓN–PUNTA CANA, DR — The Tourist Municipal District of Verón–Punta Cana has officially broken ground on the Don Agustín Recreational Park, a thoughtfully planned 443-square-meter public space created to promote community life, leisure, and family integration.
As part of the district’s broader strategy to recover and enhance public spaces, the new park will feature a central plaza, landscaped green areas, children’s play zones, and modern urban furnishings. The initiative aligns with ongoing efforts to expand safe, accessible, and inclusive recreational areas for residents.
During the launch event, Mayor Manolito emphasized that the project underscores the local government’s commitment to building dignified and secure environments that elevate residents’ quality of life. Overseen by the Municipal Public Works Directorate, the construction marks another step toward a greener, better-organized, and more people-centered city.
