Verón, Punta Cana — The Municipal Mayor’s Office of the Verón–Punta Cana Tourism District, led by Mayor Ramón Antonio Ramírez (Manolito), hosted the delegates of Miss América Latina del Mundo 2025 on Wednesday, October 8, during a formal reception held in the city hall’s conference room.

The visit formed part of the official schedule of Miss América Latina, Inc., an international pageant that brings together representatives from across the continent for its latest edition.

Throughout the program, the delegates were briefed on key initiatives spearheaded by the local government in tourism development, community outreach, environmental stewardship, and cultural promotion. The event underscored Verón–Punta Cana’s commitment to strengthening its tourism identity and expanding its global presence.

The reception featured artistic showcases by the City Hall’s soloist ensemble under the direction of César, as well as a dynamic performance by the dance group “Euforia,” delivering a high-energy celebration of Caribbean rhythm and culture.

As part of the protocol, there was an exchange of gifts between the delegates and municipal authorities. Each representative presented the mayor with a cultural emblem from her home country—a gesture symbolizing unity, diversity, and the spirit of sisterhood at the heart of the pageant.

Notable attendees included Deputy Mayor Aracelis Valdez; Dionisio López, President of the Chamber of Vocales; Irving Beltré, Director of Culture; Acirema Alayeto, President and Founder of the pageant; Associate Producer Víctor Álvarez; International Relations Officer Amauris Martínez; and Leonela Tavera, representative of Miss/Mrs. Empowerment Universal.

The Verón–Punta Cana Mayor’s Office thanked both the delegates and the Miss América Latina organization for their visit, emphasizing that events like these help elevate the district’s tourism, cultural, and social profile while reinforcing the destination’s standing as an international benchmark.
