Bogotá.- Now the members of ConnectMilesCopa Airlines frequent flyer program, they will be able to redeem their miles on the Wingo route network. With this new benefit, Copa customers, especially those residing in Colombia, will have a greater diversity of route network options to redeem and take advantage of their miles.
To make this redemption possible, ConnectMiles members will have to request their redemption voucher through the Copa frequent flyer contact center, where they will have three redemption alternatives: 5 thousand, 10 thousand or 15 thousand miles. Once the passenger selects their preferred option, they will receive their voucher with the travel credit in their email to use as a payment method at wingo.com.
“We are excited to announce this important collaboration between Copa Airlines ConnectMiles and Wingo, two sister brands within the Copa Holdings group. With this new mileage redemption option, we are expanding the possibilities for our valued customers, especially those who reside in Colombia, offering more travel options so they can connect with their trips, whether for pleasure or business. Now our ConnectMiles members will be able to enjoy the convenience and versatility of Wingo's growing route network, another example of our constant commitment to offering more and better products and experiences to our ConnectMiles members,” said Marco Antonio Ocando, Senior Director of Copa Airlines Marketing, Communications and ConnectMiles.
“For Wingo it will always be an honor to work hand in hand with its sister company Copa Airlines for the benefit of its travelers. That is why we proudly announce this new improvement in the ConnectMiles value proposition, in which frequent travelers will now be able to enjoy the Wingo route network, especially the 12 domestic routes that we operate within Colombia, where we are already the third most relevant player in the market,” said Jorge Jiménez, VP Commercial and Planning at Wingo.
The three alternatives that ConnectMiles frequent travelers will have available to advance with their redemption process are the following:
It is important to specify that these credit vouchers can only be used as a form of payment exclusively on wingo.com and that their redemption will only be for transactions in Colombian pesos.
In addition, the vouchers will be valid for one year from the date of issue and can be used flexibly in part or in full, combined with other payment methods and accumulated with other vouchers to be used in the same transaction. This is then the first coordinated initiative between Copa Airlines and Wingo that benefits ConnectMiles frequent travelers. It is important to remember that both airlines are part of Copa Holdings, one of the most solid aeronautical groups in the Americas.
