World2Fly and Czech company Fisherman Trips have entered into a strategic alliance to operate three weekly flights from Prague Airport to Caribbean and Southeast Asian destinations using their A350 aircraft.
The flights are scheduled as follows: Wednesdays to Punta Cana (Dominican Republic), Tuesdays to Santa Clara (Cuba), and Thursdays to Phu Quoc (Vietnam).
The operations will take place during the winter season, starting from October 24, 2023, until May 2, 2024.
World2Fly’s CEO, Bruno Claeys, emphasized that this agreement positions the airline as an international leader in sustainable, innovative, and high-quality air transport, despite being a relatively young company. He also noted that this operation allows them to optimize the use of their fleet during the winter season.
This collaboration with Fisherman Trips marks the second contract of its kind for World2Fly, following a previous agreement with Cordon Airlines in mid-June. As part of the lease agreement with the Turkish-Dutch company, World2Fly’s A350 will be used to operate the Amsterdam–Curaçao route for the next two years.
